Before training with us our highly skilled Kru Muay will evaluate your foundation and design a customized training program especially for you to enhance and make sure you get the most out of training whilst taking you beyond your limits.

Programs at Gumpun

Muay Thai For Explorers (Beginner Level)

This fundamental program will guide and train you to have a proper understanding of Muay Thai Foundations and techniques. This includes the correct fighting position, Muay Thai steps, movement and footwork which we will embed into you. You will also be practicing the different weapons of Muay Thai’s arsenal and using each part of your body such as your fists, feet, knees and elbows to strike. Learning both basic defensive and offensive stances of Muay Thai, you will gain your strength and be able to align your mind with your body.

Muay Thai For Professionals

The professional program is designed for students who have previous experience in Muay Thai training and a solid fighting background. In addition, students must have a strong physical body and a disciplined mental ability to train intensively. The Kru Muay take you through each aspect of Muay Thai techniques and tactics until you can implement them yourselves. Our comprehensive training programs will allow you to fight synchronizing your Muay Thai techniques with your power, body and mind.

Muay Thai for Advanced Practitioners/Competition

This is a unique program which we provide here at Gumpun and is solely available to those who wish to take their skill sets into a professional level. In order to join this program, the students must present proof of having previous training/fighting experience. Those who have previously entered into Muay Thai or MMA fights or are thinking of becoming fighters will definitely benefit from this program. The program itself concentrates specifically on your skill sets as a fighter making sure to infuse advanced Muay Thai techniques into your fighting style as well as making sure you understand the Art of Eight limbs by heart. This program will truly take your skills to a pro fighting level.

Our program also provides you with the opportunity for you to take part in our own tournament called Gumpung Fight! You will also have a chance to represent Gumpun Gym and be invited to fight in matches that are both at national and international levels.

You can book your own accommodation of your choice or have us assist you to contact local lodgings or hotels. There is a small, nice and clean hotel just 10 steps away from our Camp which offers an average price around 30-45 USD. No worries about foods when you are here. There are many nearby restaurants, bars, coffeeshops and 7-Eleven. Khonkaen has plenty of good restaurants, coffee shops and street foods for you to explore.
